The "ANTIQUE PARQUET" Restoration Studio is situated on the edge of the Bialowieza
Forest. We are a classic, family firm, steeped the tradition of generations. Our
great grandfather was a forest inspector, our grandfather an employee of a sawmill, and we
have specialized in manufacturing high-quality floors since 1981. They are mostly antique
floors of the 16th to 19th centuries, faithful reproductions of the French and English craftman's artistry and style from the past 300 years. We make floor panels, traditional parquet and parquet-marquetry.
All the varieties of parquet mentioned above are made to order for individual customers or companies. Our extensive experience allows us to create even the most elaborate designs. Especially popular among our range of products is parquet in one of the most popular styles used in England and France since the 16th century
We offer a limitless amount of patterns; from classic floor boards, the common herring-bone pattern and standard "Versailles" floors, to varied compositions of different colours and shades of wood which meet clients' requirements.
Marquetry is the art of mosaicing different kinds of wood in order to create original and unique compositions. The combination of such a floor with either an antique or a modern interior creates a unique atmosphere and individual character. Modern technology and the artistry of our craftsmen allows us form complex patterns with the highest precision. A large variety of woods provides an endless range of combinations of colour, tone and grain for the artist to choose from when creating ornamental patterns. We can also combine parquet with natural stone or marble. An appropriately selected parquet incorporated with stone creates a breathtaking composition. A high degree of specialization in producing this type of parquet enables us to realize even the wildest dreams of our clients.
